Daily Kos -  The crisis of the corrupt Supreme Court has been unfolding for years. You could look back to the ruling in Citizens United that allowed unlimited spending in elections. You could look even further back to the Bush v. Gore ruling that halted the Florida recount in 2000. You could look at the right-wing decisions in recent years to destroy the Voting Rights Act and overturn Roe v. Wade, despite an overwhelming majority of Americans supporting abortion rights.

The corruption uncovered over the last 16 months has been shocking. Clarence Thomas is embroiled in tens of different ethics scandals including undisclosed trips to Russia and Indonesia paid for by GOP billionaire mega-donor Harlan Crow, serious conflicts of interest in cases that have benefited corporations and Trump, and a slew of mysterious connections to income, loans, and right-wing networks.

All of the other conservative justices have also been caught up in scandals that call into serious question their independence and ethical standing on the court. Yet none of them — Thomas, Alito, Roberts, Gorsuch, Barrett, nor Kavanaugh — have been held accountable.
