AXIOS - Americans' out-of-pocket health spending rose 10.4% in 2021, a growth rate not seen since 1985, CMS says in its annual National Health Expenditures report. People went back to the doctor after the shutdowns of 2020, driving demand for dentistry, eyeglasses and medical supplies.
