Birth rate lowest in three decades

Tree Hugger - Last year, American women gave birth to the fewest number of children in the past three decades. The total number of children born in 2017 was 3.8 million, down 2 percent from the previous year. The economy really hasn't picked up for a lot of younger people. They might have an easier time finding a job, but those jobs won't provide the sort of financial stability needed to raise a child. Raising the minimum wage would be a start, but $15 an hour is?n't enough to support raising a child.
