DNC screws Sanders for Clinton

Buzzfeed - Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’s campaign  threatened to take the Democratic National Committee to federal court for barring aides from accessing voter data collected and compiled by the campaign.

Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver railed against the DNC for its “inappropriate reaction,” and accused the committee of denying the campaign access to its own voter information.

“We are announcing today that if the DNC continues to hold our campaign hostage, we will be in federal court this afternoon seeking immediate relief,” he said.

The threat comes after the DNC penalized the Sanders campaign for gaining access to Hillary Clinton’s private voter data information.

The campaign aide who briefly accessed Clinton’s files was immediately fired after the incident.

Weaver added that the Sanders campaign would seek a complete audit of the DNC’s operations from the beginning of campaigning through the present. Such a probe would include a similar data breach in August which resulted in exposed data from the Sanders campaign.

“I would like to see another instance where a presidential campaign was locked out of its own volunteer data,” Weaver said.

The Democrats now stand for absolutely nothing, having finally degenerated into little more than another crime syndicate, a perfect reflection of their felon front runner.

A lot is going with this and it shouldn't be any kind of real surprise.
Many of the players involved are acting true to type, including some folks within the Sanders campaign.
An old Aesop fable comes to mind:
The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

Hillary is, if nothing else, consistent in her ruthlessness. One ought never lower their guard in dealings with the ruthless.
As for the DNC, over the past three decades, they too, have been consistent in their oligarchic subserviency.---this in no small part reflecting a Clinton gestalt?
All to contend with, but not impossible to defeat assuming can count upon a dedicated and loyal organization---thus we come upon Achilles heel.
Expecting DNC party insiders to mount a successful campaign is folly, hubris, or stupidity. That these events have transpired was predictable.
The warning signs were all there as early as August.
Many scorpions inside the Bernie camp. Many scorpions acting true to nature.
Bernie was duly warned.

Washington Post coverage of this is interesting. Bernie's campaign manage, Jeff Weaver, reportedly claimed "the Sanders campaign never downloaded or printed any of the data, meaning it is no longer in possession of any proprietary information. He squarely blamed NGP VAN for the glitch — and blamed the DNC for hiring the company."
Here's what's interesting, a little item published in Campaigns & Elections dated Sept. 11, 2012:

Revolution Messaging happens to be the consulting company hired for the Bernie campaign. Here's the kind of work the partnership of NGP VAN and Revolution Messaging do:

Aesop was right.
