Project on Government Oversight - Several experts who participated as temporary members of an FDA advisory committee for an October meeting on the vaccine approval process were not asked to return for this week’s meeting. Among those not invited back were several individuals who raised concerns in October about the testing and approval process.
It’s not entirely clear why the FDA switched up the roster, but one expert said the switch was surprising given that both meetings covered vaccines and would call for similar expertise. It’s also worth noting that the acting chair of the FDA advisory committee, Dr. Arnold Monto, was a consultant for Pfizer.

Always remember, how do you get a better job at the FDA? Work in industry. How do you get a better job in industry? Go work for the FDA. The revolving door between government and industry, and the pernicious influence of money completely undermine any trust many people have in the vaccine approval process.
Do you know what causes many people to become vaccine skeptics, they know someone who has been injured.
Big Pharma is full of serial felons, why should I trust them?
Half of all Big Pharma drugs are pulled from the market in the first 2 years of public use, because of safety problems. Sometimes it needs a black box warning, a change of dose size, and other times it just goes away.
I can count the number of drugs I've been prescribed that didn't cause adverse reactions on one hand, and vaccines have routinely caused the worst reactions. I am all with those 4 who had concerns, but the revolving door made sure people really interested in a safer vaccine, do not get a seat at the table, to the peril of us all.

May I first say that one reason I enjoy Undernews is that the Comments are always educational.
I might point out that I am over 70 yrs old, and to-date I don't think I have been prescribed more drugs than fingers on one hand, in my whole life. And, personally, I have had great trust in all the medications that I have taken, both over-the-counter, and prescriptions. Until now.
But my trust has been not been broken by any fault of 'Big Pharma', rather mainly by Trump and his politicization of the Disease, Trump's passive reaction to the disease, Trump's showy push to produce a Vaccine, Trump's forced approval by the FDA of a Vaccine, and of course Trump's effect on American society that may continue to reduce face-mask wearing and maybe even Vaccination rates.
So...
In response to what appears a very well thought-out, but unsubstantiated post. I would like to hear more, but also enjoy LINKs to various accusations. Other than the revolving door thingy... that seems to be a problem in various industries / govt branches.
