Who the establishment thinks leads the establishment

Vanity Fair has published its annual list of the top members of the American establishment. Over 70%  are CEOs, founders, or top executives of corporations. Not a single one is a professor, minister, or creator of arts (as opposed to CEOs of arts corporations, novelists or composers). Two fascist dictators - Putin and the deadly prince of Saudi Arabia - made the list. The largest non-corporate choices were producers/directors (6), actors (3) and musicians (3)/
