Like journalism, art used to be one where your proof of mastery was your "book" (portfolio). For my first job I beat out 2 MFAs with just my book--I not only didn't have an MFA or even BFA, my sole formal training was a Famous Artists course that I never completed.<br /><br />Perhaps people are again revolting against credentialism?<br /><br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
