Political Wire -A new Hart Research poll found 71% of voters who backed Donald Trump said cutting Medicaid would be unacceptable. Voters overall were even more opposed to it, with 82% saying so.
Washington Times - President Trump is underwater with voters after his first month in office, a Reuters/Ipsos poll has found. The poll, released Tuesday, revealed that 44% of Americans approve of Mr. Trump’s job performance versus 50% who disapprove. That’s relatively unchanged from last week.
The poll found that 41% like Mr. Trump’s handling of the economy, with 34% happy with how Mr. Trump is addressing the cost of living. It also revealed that 38% of respondents have a favorable view of Elon Musk, the tech billionaire leading the Department of Government Efficiency, while 57% view him unfavorably.
