Children 70% more likely to die in America than in other wealthy countries

Common Dreams - American kids are 70 percent more likely to die during childhood compared with children in other wealthy, democratic nations, according to a peer-reviewed study published Monday by Health Affairs.

"This study should alarm everyone," Dr. Ashish Thakrar, the study's lead author and an internal medicine resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, told CNN.

"The U.S. is the most dangerous of wealthy, democratic countries in the world for children," he added. "Across all ages and in both sexes, children have been dying more often in the U.S. than in similar countries since the 1980s."

What are you implying Mr. 6:43AM? That it is only black kids likely to die in the inner city? Maybe it isn't rich kids that are dying, but it is everyone else's kids. Because most kids in the States grow up in cesspools filled with crazy cultureless Americans, with poor infrastructure everywhere rotting from years of disinvestment. Most kids have no health care, their parents can't even cover 500$ emergency expenses which are common in expensive America, Guns are carried by mentally ill idiots almost everywhere. Not to mention, how many kids are being given psychotropic pills like candy, as soon as they don't perform or show signs of sadness.

What a shit hole America is. I live in a 3rd world country and I'd still rather not live in America. I feel sorry for children growing up in America, a land where friendship is rare and largely doesn't exist, a place where the soul dies and only competition and lust for money and status exists.

America can suck a dick. The rest of the world is sick of the endless violence and misery you have inflicted upon it and sick of your lies as well.
