Moore argued for voiding constitutional amendments abolishing slavery and giving women right to vote

Washington Examiner - Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore said in 2011 getting rid of all the amendments to the Constitution [after the 10th]  — including voting rights for African-Americans and women — would “eliminate many problems.”

CNN’s K-File reported Moore went on the “Aroostock Watchmen” show in 2011 and made the comments.

"That would eliminate many problems," Moore said when asked about voiding all of the amendments after the Tenth. "You know people don't understand how some of these amendments have completely tried to wreck the form of government that our forefathers intended."

Here are some of  the amendments Moore would abolish

13th     Abolishes slavery, and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime.     J

15th     Prohibits the denial of the right to vote based on race, color or previous condition of servitude.

16th     Permits Congress to levy an income tax without apportioning it among the states or basing it on the United States Census.

17th     Establishes the direct election of United States Senators by popular vote.

19th     Prohibits the denial of the right to vote based on sex.
