Thanks to Delaware

Delaware has become the first state in the union whose entire congressional delegation cosponsors the DC statehood bill in the House and the Senate. Massachusetts is pretty close. Presently both of their Senators and six of their nine Representatives in the House cosponsor the statehood bill.

Your editor wrote the first article  explaining how and why DC could become a state without a constitutional amendment some 47 years ago. Nice to see things moving ahead.
