Speculation has grown about the first daughter's political ambitions after she was recently appointed as an assistant to her father, Donald. Although she in an official employee, her role is unpaid.
Psychologists, political analysts and academics all speculate about whether she may intend to be the next US head of state, in the Channel 4 documentary, presented by Matt Frei.
Ms Trump – a former model, reality TV star and businesswoman – has long been considered a moderating influence on her father.
An advocate of gender equality and climate change, Ms Trump, some commentators have claimed that she has helped to soften the public image of the man who has previously described women as “bimbos” and “fat pigs” and appointed a climate change skeptic, Scott Pruitt, to head up the Environmental Protection Agency.
