Just a thought. . .

Sam Smith - News that Donald Trump is not attending daily intelligence briefings as previous presidents-elect have done brings up a thought that may be of use. Trump's goal in life has been to gain power, publicity and money. He now finds himself in the top ranked position in the United States. He can't get a bigger job or more press and there is no clear way that he can buy up China or Russia as if they were  just more casinos.

So the possibility is there that he will assign much of his duties to others, enjoy the public eye, but leave responsibility to others. In short, act like a British king with Mike Pence, say, as his effective prime minister.

Just a thought.

Concur, but a slightly different POV. Consider the administration of Ulysses Grant. Quite military. Subordinates assigned near absolute authority and autonomy until they err. High deniability thereby. Also great opportunity for malfeasance and corruption.

Barking up the wrong tree, as usual Sam...

The man is a known workaholic...let's wait and criticize him for his policies, shall we?

Your analysis is as ludicrous as Alec Baldwin's SNL parody!

Known workaholic?! So sitting in an easy chair, talking on the phone with your co-conspirators about how you are going to pull off your next con job, that's working? LOL
