Twitter blocking Progressive Review retweets

Twitter is blocking the retweeting of posts on the Review's blog claiming "This request looks like it might be automated. To protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again later."

Since Twitter has already published the original tweet from this site (which is automatically sent from Google Blogger) blocking a retweet makes no sense unless it is being used as a form of censorship by reducing readership.

Perhaps now you might get some idea about how Dr Jill Stein feels?
Don't know why they'd want to censor this site of late, anyway. The content has hardly been distinguished by originality or boldness of content, nor has it challenged the prevailing narratives of the moment.
Given all of this, betting the problem boils down to some software bug and nothing more than that.

Which is weird since you've been posting pretty pro-Democratic establishment links, lately. Nothing radical about them.

I don't think it is censorship about content at all. Twitter is probably, rather reasonably, reacting to the aggressive way the service you are using to send links to Twitter is wrapping your content in its URL and trying to get people to sign up for *it's* service (not your blog).

The service that is doing this is linkis.com

You should switch to something that isn't as intrusive, that just puts your blogger/blogspot links on Twitter without trying to take over them.

Perhaps https://dlvr.it/pages/enrollment.php or https://Buffer.com

It's not just RTs. I get the same message when I try to tweet ProRev links myself. I have to convert them at tinyurl.
