Big leak finds TPP in trouble

As hundreds of teachers and supporters marched around Detroit Public Schools' headquarters Monday, the district's state-appointed leader said lawmakers must pass a long-term rescue package to avoid payless paydays this summer in Michigan's largest school system.

The Communications Workers of America  strike at Verizon is now in week three. Thirty-nine thousand workers are striking to preserve middle class wages in the U.S. The strike is affecting company operations and customers are feeling it.
