After the Democrats have coronated Hillary and Bernie has shamefully capitulated everything, including his once perceived integrity to her, the sense of frustration and disfranchisement felt by many as she rebounds rightward is going to lead many to simply give up on our electoral system.
Few are likely show up to vote. 'Why bother?' may become the central campaign meme, and it's going to be difficult arguing against the pessimism, complacency, and indifference.

Those on the right have demonstrated an amazing capacity to close ranks in past presidential elections, as should be expected from a demographic thoroughly inculcated with authoritarian values and ideals. There is little reason to expect 2016 to be any different. As this writer sees things, the Democrats are fixin' to have their asses handed to them in no uncertain terms. The republic is dead, long live the plutocracy. Next stop, WW III

How about Bernie? I know he's behind her, but wonder how he'd do in the general. Thanks.

So, Sam, are you reluctant to allow posts critical of the Democratic charade?
What's the deal?
