Poland becomes 14th European country to ban GMOs

Nation of Change - Poland is the latest country, in a series of European countries, to reject all genetically modified organisms in their food production. Let’s hope other countries, including the U.S., follow in these footsteps and rid themselves of GMOs.

.... Poland joins the ranks of Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Latvia, Italy, Germany, Scotland, Wales, Lithuania, Austria, Ireland, France, and Greece.

Is there some inherent thing wrong with GMOs?

No, there's nothing wrong whatsoever with GMOs - other than there are no long term studies regarding their effect on the living. So if you feel lucky, eat all the GMOs you want. Oh, and by the way, another franken food not found in nature, namely trans fats, they have been found to be toxic to human life. Given that factoid, it seems that to err on the conservative side and not eat GMOs would be very wise. But here in the US, we're exceptional, so biology doesn't apply to us, I guess, which is why GMOs are still legal.
