When Sir Terry Pratchett OBE was nearing the end of his life because of PCA and had nothing left to lose, I wonder whether anyone offered to have a go with foetal tissue. Just after the diagnosis he said he'd eat the arse out of a dead vole if that's what it took, so it's possible he would have been willing, even eager, to try a foetal-tissue transplant.
