What's happening

Depending on how you define it, we are in no wars or 134

A new Harris Poll on behalf of CareerBuilder finds that employers actually approve of a national minimum wage of $10 an hour. The new poll finds that 62 percent of employers think their state's minimum wage should be increased, and that includes 58 percent of “company senior leaders.”

Ex-CIAer Ray McGiovern has won his suit over his arrest and abuse by George Washington University police after he stood with his back to the stage during a speech by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The State Department even put out a Be On the Look Out notice.

The American Civil Liberties Union and others have filed a class action suit against the Scott County (Mississippi) sheriff, district attorney, and judges after learning that the Scott County Detention Center has held people for as long as a year without appointing counsel and without indicting them.
