Chicago Teachers Union head leads Emanuel in poll

WGN, Chicago - Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis has not announced that she’s running for mayor, but this poll shows she leads Emanuel, with 43 percent of the vote.
Emanuel has 39 percent, but 14 percent are undecided.

This poll suggests that if liberals would give up their ant-teacher support for Obama's corporate backed approach to public education, they might do a lot better. We can't remember another union leader outpolling an incumbent Democratic mayor. - TPR
