To fully understand your editor, it may help to know that one of his youthful heroes was mathematician and songster Tom Lehrer. Beyond the beats and cool jazz, in the 1950s there weren't many anti-establishment figures such as Lehrer. Here,are a few of his songs, some just funny, but some - like Pollution and Who's Next? - are remarkably timely still.

Tom Lehrer and TW3 were my favorites back in those days and, weirdly, I was only about 12!!!! Thanks for the giggles and reminding me of the days before 'liberal' and 'progressive' became dirty words.

I was also ruined by listening to Lehrer at an impressionable age, I haven't been the same since.
Once the rockets go up who cares where they come down, that's not my department I'm Werhner von Braun.
